Links of Ra Slot Review: RTP 96%, Volatility, and Payline

In this Links of Ra slot review, it is from Microgaming partner Slingshot Studios, and adds to the plethora of Egypt-themed slots. What is there left to say about this corner of the world that hasn’t already been addressed in a slew of reviews? To be ready for the scorching heat of an ancient land’s desert, put on sunscreen and a hat.

As you solve riddles, scale pyramids, and raid tombs, expect a dose of exoticism. In Slingshot’s game Links of Ra, we receive a lot of this while spinning for possible glory amongst Power Stacks, free spins, and a Link & Win Feature with 4 jackpots.

In Links of Ra, Slingshot leaves little mistake about where they’ve taken players. The horizon is lined with large intimidating pyramids behind the game panel, jackpot information, and different UI components.

Because Giza is known for having only three Great Pyramids and a lot of smaller ones, Slingshot has used its creative liberty to heighten the mystery. Maybe this isn’t Giza after all, but a hitherto unknown region of Egypt.

Any archaeologist would be famous for life if they discovered such a large ancient city spread out in the front, yet one of the fun things about Egypt is driving about and finding random pyramids in the middle of nowhere. That ramble is a convoluted way of stating Links of Ra is an attractive game that represents Egypt’s exotic atmosphere wonderfully.

1. The RTP, Volatility, and Payline

The action takes place on the game’s center 5-reel, 4-row gaming panel, which features 40 paylines for hitting winning combos. Winning lines pay from left to right, starting with the leftmost reel. Players who may be attracted by the sparkling Egyptian sunshine should keep an eye out for the changing RTP.

The best return rate is 96.20 percent, but it might be as low as 94.23 percent or even lower. The game’s volatility has been rated as very high, which means you can either hit it big during streak respins or flounder because the main game is devoid of features except for the occasional Power Stack. Links of Ra can be played on any device, with bets ranging from 20p to £/€20 every spin.

The links between Ra’s symbols are typically thematic and well-drawn. The low payouts are made up of four gems, whereas the high rewards are made up of five gods. They appear to be Khnum, Sobek, Bastet, Anubis, and Horus, with a line of five worth 5 to 7.5 times your investment.

The game’s logo serves as a wild symbol that can appear in any position. The wild symbol can be used to achieve a win and is worth up to 25 times the bet when five of them appear on a payline.

2. The Slot Features

Most of the extras that players may encounter when spinning Links of Ra have already been mentioned. Power Stacks, free spins, and the Link&Win feature are all examples.

Power Stacks

There’s a potential that symbols will be Super Stacked at any time during a spin. These Super Stacked symbols, which can be anything else but scatters or wilds, are added to all reels.

Free Spins

In the base game, three scatters in view activate 15 free spins. All wins are doubled by x2 in these games, which are played in the same way as the main game.

When you land 6 or more coin symbols, this feature is activated. The 3 respins are awarded after the triggering coin symbols are locked in place.

The feature does not include regular payouts, however, any new coin symbols that emerge on the reels lock in place and reset the respins. When the respins are complete, the values on all of the coin symbols in view are gathered and paid out.

Every coin may be worth 1-15 times the stake when the Link&Win feature is triggered from the base game. There are also four jackpot coin symbols: Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand, which are worth 20x, 100x, 500x, and 2,500x the bet, respectively. The winnings of all coins, such as the jackpot coins, are doubled if the Link&Win feature is triggered during free spins.

To conclude this review, it is a well-made Judi slot; the graphics are top-notch, the UI is as sleek as it gets, and the entire experience feels quite professional.

If players enjoy the expansive Egyptian theme, that alone may be enough to entice them to take a chance. Links of Ra is unlikely to pique your interest if this is not the case. The problem is that the themes and characteristics are so familiar.

The view of Giza and the deity symbols are attractive, as they are in a plethora of other Egyptian games. Anything, no matter how exotic it was before, can become boring due to overindulgence.

Unless, of course, a game provider produces something truly unique. As previously stated, while the execution is flawless, there is nothing particularly special to entice gamers to return to the scorching deserts of Egypt once they’ve had their fill. Well, that is Links of Ra slot review
